Folks,
Houston area. This is an excellent ground cover plant, but should I be growing it next to my foundation? I think it's proper setting is as a climber, it's called Japanese ...something.

Thanks

It will not harm your foundation, but if it is happy in its location, it may climb enthusiastically up your house.

Thanks, I try and get the weed eater between it and the house. It's a great ground cover plant.

Asiatic jasmine, I think. I agree with porkpal, it won't harm the foundation as long as you don't have to water it very much.

Other than big plants with lusty roots, not much will harm a concrete foundation except water incursion.
