If the fifth one is an intermediate it could be Champagne Encore by Aitken 1997.

For the third check out Bountiful Harvest. That stripe down the center of the fall on #2 should be a clue; I cannot find my pictures of one I used to have that had that characteristic.

Remember it is easy to eliminate those that are NOT what you have growing, but hard to do a guarantee of what it truly is. You will need details of purple in foliage, height of bloom, pattern of buds on stem, color layers in beard, patterns on falls/standards, etc. Your soil could also change the colors, as could any camera or computer monitor.

Some interesting ones though. Good luck with the "project."

Arlyn, I have more than a few. They are beautiful and range from dark to light purple plics and even some plum purple plicatas. I have never tried to i.d. them as I would have to dedicate my entire garden to test plants. I just grow and enjoy them....... and when someone visits and cries for one I share too. LOL

I took my first Iris Garden Tour last week and noticed about at least 14 that looks similar..very similar yet all very beautiful and had their own tweak of characteristics.
Gimme it and I'll grow it!

There are just so many many purple and white plicatas, some with very little difference between them. It is a very hard group to identify. Having been on that same garden trip as Gabe, I can say that it seems to me you would have to buy comparison plants to be sure, or take your bloom with you to a garden that grows a lot of them.

Do you have more shots of the third one? It is hard to tell the pattern on the standards.
