I'm not sure what the rules are on the 'Also sold as' category, but I bought Allium hollandicum 'Purple Sensation locally, sold as A. aflatunense 'Persian Blue'. When I couldn't find it in the database under that name, I found it being sold at Brecks as Persian Blue, but with the correct latin name (including the cultivar Purple Sensation). Can this be listed as also sold as in our database? Why do vendors change the name of flowers if they know what the correct name is? In this case it's especially aggravating because the flowers are clearly purple so the made up name makes no sense.

For starters our database entry for Flowering Onion (Allium 'Purple Sensation') was wrong and I've corrected it. It showed A. aflatunense as a synonym with A. hollandicum as accepted. Both are accepted species and the plant is sold under both names. KAVB, which is the ICRA for Allium, doesn't list a species for this plant, so I moved both species names to the Also sold as field.

I also added Allium Persian Blue™ to the Also sold as field. KAVB says that 'Purple Sensation' was registered in 1963 so trademarking a new name is
