Thanks everyone! Unfortunately I don't know which cultivar it is. I got it from a lady on FreeCycle. It was one of dozens that were destined for the garbage because they were growing behind her neighbor's house. The neighbor put the extras behind her house and when she moved, the HOA wanted them removed. I'll have to check out Red Hawk or Vitafire, thanks Lloyd. Thumbs up

with or without a name it's great and I wouldn't mind a piece when it's big enough.
All the best,

It's definitely my favorite iris in my garden. Once it grows more offsets, I'll definitely send you one Lloyd. Thumbs up

Cameron, that really is beautiful! For comparison here are the database links for the two mentioned:
Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Red Hawk')
Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Vitafire')

Thanks Bea and Lin! Sadly it didn't bloom this year like most of my irises. We had a very mild winter so that could have been the culprit. My eyes are bad and I can't tell the difference between Red Hawk or Vitafire. Rolling on the floor laughing
