Sighing! I remember when I lived in Colorado it was like that. The first year we were there it snowed in every month except August. We had to wear parkas to the 4th of July parties and it snowed on us.

Oh my goodness ... Mother Nature certainly has many different sides, doesn't she? We mowed the lawn today and worked outside in the heat and humidity for quite a few hours. Wanted to jump in the pool to cool off but I knew if I did, I'd never get back to the chores at hand. Our dog Bo enjoyed the water though. Green Grin!

I went home yesterday and immediately checked out the wisteria, all good so far. My god, I was so nervous. Literally hundred blooms at least. 3rd time it will bloom in 30 years (never ever ever been pruned)

THIS is why I always wait until Memorial Day to set plants outside, or to make up the containers for the patio.

Brendan, please post a photo when the wisteria blooms. Sounds lovely!

LOL, I was born in Va. and lived in coastal Va. until the age of 19 ... I do vaguely remember still wearing jackets in late May and early June. I've been in Florida close to 50 years now and we don't have much in the way of seasons in this part of the state: Smiling Spring (sometimes very nice weather for @ a month) .... Summer (sometimes seemingly endless) .... Fall (maybe a week if we're lucky) .... Winter (What's that?) Rolling on the floor laughing

Wow. Normally we have snow here till late May or June. But this year we've had temps in the 70's for the last month! Crazy!

We had a combination of hail, snow, and rain yesterday late morning (Sunday 5/15). It cleared up in about 2 hours and stayed windy and overcast for most of the day. Then at night around 7 we had an encore of the cold mess for about an hour. This morning we had a predicted light frost. I heard on some local weather station that this is the 5th coldest May on record in PA. I also heard that we are in for hot, dry weather during the months of July and August. Mother Nature has a strange sense of humor. Blinking
