I got this in 2011 and put it at the edges of a flagstone patio. It did quite well for a couple years, spreading out nicely. Last year, it all but disappeared, and this year it is likewise pretty sparse. It's in mostly full sun, with some shade from the late western rays. The soil is fairly rich in the outlying beds, and solid sand closer to the patio. Is it just short lived?

This one does not last as long as my different species of Sedum album. It never completely dies out, but just looks sparse.
Try one of the smaller versions of album. It is even growing on my cement bridge in full sun. Never gets sparse.

Thanks. I'll keep my eye out, or perhaps just start over with Golden Acre - it's at the grocery store. Easy peasy.

Sigh. I am currently in denial about photos. I have an actual camera with a memory card. It used to be that I'd pop it into the side slot of my computer and anything new would upload to a folder easily found by that day's date and some photo program would automatically launch. I really can't figure out where they go now, or what program I need to use to access them. Windows 10. Love it (not). I do need to figure this out, though.

I do and I did and I think that's what used to pop up for me, but no clue where it might be now. I have had the absolute worse luck with computers lately. I fried my old trusty computer's battery, bought a new one last July and it has been sent back to Houston THREE times so far - new hard drive, new motherboard, another new hard drive. I'm at the end of my rope. But...off topic. Dell is not my friend. And, sorry for all you Texans, but I have no fondness.

Dell used to be the best, was my very first computer in 1995. It is definitely not the same quality and service that it used to be. I have an HP now for a few years and have been very happy with it.

I did finally find them. I think I was just in denial. Just another thing that is not behaving as I am used to. Sigh.
