Not the flower but the lily itself..
I had 3 of them last spring planted....they started to grow and then stopped and were down in the pot.....
I planted them in another bed with other lilies and I see some lilies coming up with broader leaves
wander if they are martagon's or not
can someone help me by showing me a pic please

thanks

I take it Martagon's throw out stems.......
keeping an eye on the lilies and also notice that I have another type of lily with no tag that is leafing right to the bottom of the plant and not sure the type of one that is as well.........

These ones are at about 4 weeks of growth. This bed is quite shaded and the soil takes some time to warm up in the spring so they are not quite as far along as some in the warmer parts of my yard, although all mine seem to be up a bit earlier with the more moderate winter we had this year. Martagon leaves are quite wide and they are arranged in whorls, different from other lilies. Mine bloom here usually later in June, or beginning of July depending on the weather conditions. If your bulbs are newer they may not bloom this year; they take some time to settle in. Here us a pic from last year- this is the smaller plant in the two pics I posted earlier. Note the whorled leaves.
