@dave,
I was looking through an old thread in the Texas Gardening Forum created by frostweed titled "Gardening with Texas Native Plants and Wildflowers, The Front Yard"- showing the beautiful garden filled with Texas native plants. (Whew, BIG JOB!!) Thumbs up

Post #95197:
Thumb of 2016-05-20/greene/a27e20

In post #188886 frostweed gives us a link to a story by Sharon:
Thumb of 2016-05-20/greene/26ac3b

But clicking to read the story I received a message that it was "not found on this server":
Thumb of 2016-05-20/greene/f73bb5

So I highlighted the word "quote" in post #188886 in order to see the full link to Sharon's story:
Thumb of 2016-05-20/greene/a439e4

The link reads:
http://garden.org/articles/vie...

Since the link contains the name allthingsplants it is not being recognized. Does this mean that any and all links need to be updated with the new NGA name so they can be accessed? Whew, sounds like another big job!

Thank You!

Looks like it has more to do with things having been re-arranged. The articles are now under "Ideas and Articles," not just "Articles."
The link to that article now looks like this: http://garden.org/ideas/view/S...
So, still looks like maybe something needs updating? (Heh, assuming the link that was posted worked in the first place. Smiling )

Hmmm, did I find the right article? I notice the link you show has "Sharon/261/" and the one I find for Frostweed is "Sharon/206/."
Sigh, I probably missed something again.

Woofie is right. We changed the URL to those a very very long time ago. That post can be edited.

Uh oh. Many of us have posted links throughout threads to articles for reference. How will we be able to update all of them?

Any link posted since about 2012 is fine. It's just the VERY old threads that are affected.

If you click on it, you'll see that the one I looked up is from December of 2011.
