As a comment about Gloriosa Lily (Gloriosa carsonii), jmorth wrote:

This designation refers to the chocolate purple and lemon yellow upsidedown lily isolated and developed by professional Gloriosa Lily growers in India. Kind of exotic and 'rare' according to purveyors. Culture mimics the other Gloriosas.

The first ones I tried didn't do anything. The replacements worked well. No more difficult than other Gloriosa varieties. In retrospect, they may not have had as many blooms as suberba or greenii. They were pretty small tubers. When repotting Gloriosas this spring, the carsonii had already spouted several inches out of their pot, so I didn't re-pot them, thusly, can't report on their individual growth or proliferation.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
