Would anyone be interested in this bare-root plant (in small bag of potting soil) someone sent me? Part of a mother's day gift, but I don't think this would survive in hot, usually dry Texas. I have read that is native from Pennsylvania westward to Illinois, and north of Georgia, also found in Massachussetts. I'd really prefer to give it to someone who is a bit closer to its native range. Is anyone interested? Filipendula [rubra] "Venista', it says.
