My daughter has two HB with coir liners form last year (?) that are kind of fluffled (hm, I meant fluffed :^)..) Will I need to buy new liners? Or can I just squish them down?
And, planting a non stop begonia in each- she thinks they will be in shade. do these dry out too fast? should I use granules, or an inner liner of plastic bag, or something to reduce the drying?
Thanks for any advice.
Plant it and they will come.

Hi Sally,
What I do with my coir baskets is place a piece of landscape fabric, to fit basket, on the inside of the container. Then I take one of those cheep clear plastic saucers and put in the bottom of the basket, then fill with soil. Works great for me. The landscape fabric really saves the coir liner and the saucer acts like a little reservoir.
