No Queen Anne's Lace in my part of Florida. I've seen it in KY and WV before. We stopped to eat at a Wendy's or something on the way home and there was a bunch of it growing next to the parking lot. I told Dad to give me five minutes and I'd find a caterpillar. And I did! And he migrated to Florida with me. Hilarious!

The wheelbugs were gone by the third round. I'm pretty sure this was the main killer for the last two attempts and may even be why the wheelbugs are gone. Here it's got a grasshopper, but it seems indiscriminate about what's on for dinner. As far as I can tell it doesn't use a web to trap the prey. He moves around and is really clever about hiding. It took some patience for me to get even this poor photo because it kept moving and keeping plant stems as cover.
