I've used Azomite on my peonies for a couple of years, last year in combination with BulbTone. I didn't think I saw any difference directly attributable to the Azomite so I didn't use it this spring, just BulbTone. I'm noticing now that I'm seeing quite a few more floppy stems, guess I found its benefit! Won't make that mistake again, will order some soon for fall application.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Liz! I can't say for sure whether Azomite is helpful but I think it also help my peonies to have better more intense colors if I apply the azomite to them.

I will try it this Fall on my herbaceous peonies, probably not on my tree peony.

I have been using Azomite's when I plant a new peony and I really think it gets them off to a good start. I have sprinkled some around established peonies, too.

I dusted some over my veggie garden last year (figured soil was depleted after years of veggies in the same spot) and think it had a good effect... glad to hear of a specific benefit for peonies... it's too pricey for me to put it over all the garden areas each year, but I could use it on the peonies!

Has anybody tried it on oriental or OT lilies? I don't want my new ones to peter out after a few years... and I bet feeding them better is the answer.

I know... "don't guess, soil test!" Somehow I don't get around to it.

So far I've only used it on peonies but have oriental and Asiatic lilies in the same beds so they probably benefit from it a bit.
