Is there anything to blame for this strange bent/twisted heads on my oriental lilies?

Think it could be the excessive rain here this season? I can't recall for sure, but I think I also remember odd looking blooms, too.

This happened last season to a few of them, but this year it seems all are affected. It was very rainy last spring, too.

They were growing straight until they got to be close to this height, then started to twist more and more.

I would suggest posting this in the lily forum. Plenty of people in there with a ton of info that might be able to suggest something.

I suppose it could be too much water and contracted a fungal infection.

In the first picture a few of the plants to the left of the lilies have somewhat distorted leaves. Is there any chance a herbicide or other pesticide was sprayed close by?

I don't know--and don't know why they would be the only ones affected. That bed is full, and there are other lilies, too.

My neighbors keep their grass neatly mowed, but that's about it. I've never noticed them or their hired help spraying for weeds or anything.

And I can't seem to find any bugs or holes where bugs may have crawled into them.

Thank you, I will post there, too.
