I finally got around to taking some pictures of my semps that are growing around my yard. It was wet, cold and there was a light mist so I didn't hang around the yard to long.
I tried to load these in their normal high quality original photo but the internet isn't cooperating and I had to re-save them and it changed the image quality just a bit. I hope everyone enjoys looking at them as much as I enjoyed getting out there and taking them.
I have to give a big shout-out to this community. They have allowed me to ask a million questions through private messages and they've been willing to let me purchase some of their semps so I could expand my collection. It is an amazing group and I truly enjoy reading everyones posts. I don't get to post as much as I like to but I hope to get better about that. Anyways, feel free to look at the pictures I posted and sorry there are so many, I tend to get a bit carried away when I have a camera in hand, haha!
This is the washbin I used this past year and planted a bunch that I received from Greg in it. It looks really good and I've only had a couple of casualties.
Overall, they're looking pretty good. As spring gets here, I'm going to move it around my house to the back yard. That way they'll be able to get that morning sun with a shady evening that I hope keeps them thriving.
The next few are a few closeups of some of the ones from the washbin.
I see some growth in this one!
In the bottom left corner of this pic, I noticed one growing up out of the rocks.
Wow! Another close-up from the wash-bin.....
Now as we move around to my backyard, this is just a large flowerpot that sits on my back deck. I just had to put the last bit of my semps in here that I didn't have another spot for. Hopefully, they'll play nice together....
This is one I have sitting on the deck railing so it can get plenty of sun.
A whole lot of growth on a little bitty semp! I'm really hoping this one makes it......
This is the other washbin in my backyard around the corner from my deck. The semps in this washbin appear to have thrived I think because of the limited evening sun they receive due to the corner of my house blocking the harsh evening sun and 100 temps we tend to get in the summer.
The next few photos are some close-ups of some of the semps in the 2nd washbin.
This one is ONE of my faves!
Then again, I really like everyone of them, haha!
I see a chick peeking out!
Niphetos is showing growth all around!
The old wheelbarrow I cleaned up and used. It's got a little bit of everything in it.
The next two are views of the bed I have along the side of my house. As my semps multiply I plan on filling in the other half of the bed.
The rest are close-ups of the semps in the bed pictured above.
