As the cold weather seems like it has moved out, I feel like I can finally get out and start working it my yard. Hurray! I had to go out of town tonight and thought I'd buy a couple of semps at Lowe's to add to my beds. If all of mine grew to be this big, I don't know what I'd do. Drooling I'll try to add some pics of my beds and planters of my collection. I notice new ones that I've added in the past year are starting to have quite a few offsets for the first time. It's looking like this is going to be a good spring/summer for my semps!

Chad how fun. New semps. They do look really large. And just look at all the offsets coming on the semp to the left in your photo. Wow. Hurray!

Awesome Semp collection!!
Have you checked out the baker racks? They sell them at Home Depot and lowes and you would be surprised how affordable they can be especially when they are on sale! That's what Inuse for my potted plants and the newer ones often times will get thrown in a lower shelf while they harden off. Deck railings also work well for me... Smiling
Keep us updated with pics I love to see them! Also is there anyway I can see who is selling semps? And what they have? I came across Lynn's store but when I emailed her she informed me she is currently covered in snow! I love Lynn's plants! Drooling gotta get me some of those!

Snow is gone now, but it has not stopped raining. Maybe today will be a day to work outdoors. Crossing Fingers!
I woke up to 52° outside this morning. Hurray!
Time to go out and see how things are doing. Hurray!

Lynn, I too would be interested in making some purchases once it warms up and you get situated Smiling For Semps being cold hardy, i'm a little surprised how hard they are to find here in Illinois. :-/

Here you go. So far I have not completed an inventory of the ones that are available right now.
Tomorrow is suppose to be sunny and dry, so I will get out there and start a list. The ones that are available will have 'For Sale' under the status column.

I finally got around to taking some pictures of my semps that are growing around my yard. It was wet, cold and there was a light mist so I didn't hang around the yard to long. Big Grin I tried to load these in their normal high quality original photo but the internet isn't cooperating and I had to re-save them and it changed the image quality just a bit. I hope everyone enjoys looking at them as much as I enjoyed getting out there and taking them.

I have to give a big shout-out to this community. They have allowed me to ask a million questions through private messages and they've been willing to let me purchase some of their semps so I could expand my collection. It is an amazing group and I truly enjoy reading everyones posts. I don't get to post as much as I like to but I hope to get better about that. Anyways, feel free to look at the pictures I posted and sorry there are so many, I tend to get a bit carried away when I have a camera in hand, haha! Rolling on the floor laughing

This is the washbin I used this past year and planted a bunch that I received from Greg in it. It looks really good and I've only had a couple of casualties. Thumbs down Overall, they're looking pretty good. As spring gets here, I'm going to move it around my house to the back yard. That way they'll be able to get that morning sun with a shady evening that I hope keeps them thriving.

The next few are a few closeups of some of the ones from the washbin.

Wow! Another close-up from the wash-bin.....

Now as we move around to my backyard, this is just a large flowerpot that sits on my back deck. I just had to put the last bit of my semps in here that I didn't have another spot for. Hopefully, they'll play nice together.... Crossing Fingers!

This is one I have sitting on the deck railing so it can get plenty of sun. Thumbs up

A whole lot of growth on a little bitty semp! I'm really hoping this one makes it...... Hurray! Crossing Fingers!
Thumb of 2017-03-12/chadu82/eae4d2

This is the other washbin in my backyard around the corner from my deck. The semps in this washbin appear to have thrived I think because of the limited evening sun they receive due to the corner of my house blocking the harsh evening sun and 100 temps we tend to get in the summer. Grumbling

The next few photos are some close-ups of some of the semps in the 2nd washbin.

I finally got some updated pics posted tonight. I haven't really looked at bakers racks or any shelving to put mine on. I've been trying to make use of what I have around my yard. I go in Lowe's and I could easily spend way to much money, haha!

Thanks! I have been outside working in the yard today and I will say it's quite a bit warmer than it was yesterday. I'm trying to get some hostas planted and a few other things transferred.

I thought I would post a picture of the different colors that are noticeable between the semps in the washbin on my front porch. I planted them just before winter got here and the colors are really coming out now that spring is finally just around the corner. I wished I would've payed closer attention and taken the pic from the same angle. D'Oh!
