Does anyone have actual pictures of any of their 2011 introductions that they can post?

No I suspect other people didn't order from Schreiners this year, or at least not those particular plants.

Check their website. They have 15 intros pictured. My picks would be 'Cleared for Takeoff', 'Fame and Glory', and 'Fatherland'. I did not order but I surely like those three.

I liked 'Glad' orange bearded blue. That combination is unusual.

I love Schrieners but did not order from them in 2011. Because of that, I have tried to stay away from their website to cut down on the amount of drool.... - maybe next year!

Our first frost date is around first of Dec. The ground never freezes here either. I have planted around the end of September or first of October for 8 years now with no ill affect. It is just now starting to cool off enough to work in the garden.

Our first freeze date is late in October, normally. I've planted through November and all grew without problems. Our ground freezes and thaws because we generally have little snow cover. Pretty much the worst possible conditions.

We can have frost in Sept., but not this yr.

Most years our ground never freezes, other than just the couple inches on top where it meets with the snow. And if it does freeze, it's not until late Feb or so. I plant right up until snow in December. Planted on New Years Eve a couple of years ago. No problems.
