Bought from B & D lilies in Washington state. Given to me by my aunt. I love it. Would like to use it to hybridize. My aunt has had her division for at least 5 years. What is the name of this daylily? Thanks in advance.

With 10's of thousands of registered daylillies you may never be able to nail down a 100% certain ID. I'm sure there are a few here that may have some idea, but it may still be near impossible to know for sure.

Angela, as Rob says there are so very many possibilities, but I think you should try posting this question to the Daylilies forum specifically. That way more of our "real" expert daylily growers will be sure to see it, and someone may recognize it.

Also you could try to contact the grower, and if you do, they may be able to ID it for you.
(edited to add) I went and googled B & D Lilies and they don't sell daylilies, so perhaps you should check again with your aunt to see if she's sure that's where it came from. Trumpets, Orientals, Orienpet . . real Lilies, not Hemerocallis which are daylilies.

Thank you. That's what I figured, but was hoping for the best. My aunt emailed the company and they had stopped selling daylilies and had new management. Thanks for your response.

Thank You! I'll see if the daylily forum has an idea.
