But it does get away from you fast. Luckily (at least in my neck of the woods), it is shallow rooted and easy to pull up. I seem to get them in wetter areas of my yard.

I have the potentilla reptans--just recognized the seven-lobed leaf in my lawn from this thread. It's not as nice-looking, but it fills in our spotty, shaded lawn along with the clover and other things...

Yea, there in my creek, I'm now paying attention to what things are, I'm going to unleash our goats, on all the weeds and poison ivy back there
