We have 2 thirty gallon rain barrels, both full. In one of them I measured out about 40 TBL and put right in the rain barrel, the full
amount per directions would of been 60 TBL but I don`t want to maybe over do it. So now when I fill my watering can I do not
have to keep doing it, it is already done.

I have thought of doing that but the bees drink out of my rain barrel and since I have only one I did not want to have the fertilizer in 'common' water. It may not matter to them but since I did not know I thought I would do it the hard way. lol

Thanks, found it! Have a good day! We are off to a family reunion picnic in Fremont, about 40 miles away, and thunderstorms are
predicted! But, a roofed pavilion has been rented but I sure hope not to be stuck under it. Of course we are going, many people
to see (my husband`s family reunion) and these reunions are only every few years.

do you use liquid or a granular kind? Do you dissolve it first in a smaller amount of water before adding it? When I mix the powdery kind I have to stir it off and on as I use it so it doesn't all settle.
I buy some stuff that is like gritty salt texture and it is blue colored.

I just use the granulated and seems to dissolve in the barrel just fine.

It can take several months...months...for an idea to be published. Be patient. Thumbs up

Yours is a good idea and will help lots of folks. I was friends with an older man who had a greenhouse and he would mix up a huge batch just as you did. The customers were encouraged to bring a clean plastic milk jug and he would fill their containers for a dollar. Thumbs up
