Fantastic idea! I had this problem just today. My gunners were not happy about waiting for the water to cool! Problem solved! Thank You!

I just microwave 1/4 cup sugar in 1 cup water in a Pyrex measuring cup. Two minutes brings it to a full boil. This is easier than prefmixing, storing and defrosting.

Juliebw48, that would work fine too. I just am lazy and like having it ready. Don't like waiting for it to cool. I just thaw it in a few seconds, measure, dilute and done. Whatever works best for each person, go for it. I can see where your method is very easy too.
