Hi! I'm a beginner in gardening and need your expert advise. I bought a semi dwarf 4 combination apple tree and 4 combination of pear tree last April 2016. Since the pear has already fruits in it and some flowers with the apple tree, the nurser told us that its better to replant both trees on the ground in fall, if we want to enjoy some fruits this summer, not suffer from shock and tree will be dormant in fall and much safer to transplant. Is that a good idea? Both trees are still in a container. Appreciate your reply. Thanks!
