Thread OP
Name: david sevitt
jerusalem israel
today i went down stairs to empty out my containers i put under some bushes in the garden (that had bulbs since october)
the soil most of it was hard tough soil mixed(because of my stingines)with a little bit of potting soil.
is it right that my conclusion is .dont try to imitate garden conditions?
a container is a container.
the poor bulbs were fighting with me as i was fighting with the stubborn soil.
i dont know what profit was in pulling out a few bulbs for next seasons.
i feel like i should
1/leave them alone and not water or
2/only nice potting soil deep with gravel at the bottom??????
also the rim around the top really made it hard to dump the soil out
second thought.......maybe i should have watered the soil heavily at the event of uprooting so the bulbs would apart from the soil smoothly?????
