I bought some peonies from Swenson last year. The only one that has no buds is Diana Parks. Here is first to bloom:

Karen, my Diana Parks has one bud and it did not open yet. Out of the 15 cultivars I ordered last year, 10 of them had buds.

In the pic from left to right is Red Charm, Henry Bockstoce and Old Faithful. Red Charm is from another vendor but HB and Old Faithful are both from Swenson's.

Lily, I love your ES, patiently waiting for mine to open. Bought one from Parkland last year, but divided into 2 ( hopefully into 4 ) pieces.

Thank you Alex. I remember your post last year. You were the first one to receive peony root orders last fall. Parkland has sent you some nice roots, too bad they are not in business anymore. Please post some pics of your ES and also your Red Charm when they bloom.
