Thread OP

Hello! I have a small tree in my garden but I can't find anyone who can identify it. It's about 6-7ft tall, and has bloomed with yellow blossom in the last couple of weeks. Later in the year it will get small red fruits and the leaves go a much reddier/bronzier colour. There are also some shoots with leaves coming up straight from the ground, so I wondered if it is in fact an over grown shrub. But I am a gardening novice, so any suggestions gratefully received!
