Saw these in the back field today and was wondering if they are yellow Cosmos or Coreopsis?

You might be able to tell the diff by the leaves, Marie. But my bet is they are Coreopsis. Some "thread leaf" type Coreopsis do have foliage similar to Cosmos though.

No, they are not the same flower, although they might be related. They sure do look similar don't they!
