Jack, when do they reshoot? I am worried about mine in their second year. This is the second week of spring here and no sign of leaves.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

They're not the earliest to show spring green, but then again, not necessarily the last. Mine are usually planted at the soil line. If I were you, I'd dig down and check.
