Wild Ginger Farm http://wildgingerfarm.com/ has a wonderful selection of hardy sedum, a few sempervivum and many great alpine type plants that would grow well with your sempervivum.
I will place a small order from them and post the results here. If you order from them we would love to here about your experience and see photos of what you got.

Woohoo...so glad you're going to visit. Hurray! They have some plants I'd like to get but they're a little more expensive. Maybe that means excellent plants. Thumbs up

I just got home Linda. I had a glorious day, even if I didn't get to stay very long. Next time I will take camera again, sack lunch and spend the day. I can't begin to tell you what a great place this nursery is. The bonus is that Emma (owner) was so much fun. Full of information on plants I don't know how to care for. Needless to say I brought some new things home for my raised beds. Hurray!

Nice plants. I especially like Delosperma davyi. I see you also got Ulmus x hollandica 'Jacqueline Hillier. You'll really like this one. I so wish we had some decent nurseries around here.

She has an amazing array of miniature trees. Both evergreen and deciduous. I was so excited when I saw the 'Jacqueline Hillier'. How is yours doing this year?
I told her what happened to yours last year, she said it will probably have a lot more character now. : )
So when are you going to come for a visit Chris. I will take you to many little plant treasure spots. : ) Wild Ginger Farm would definitely be on that list. Lovey dubby
She has so many things you won't find in other nurseries. Her collection of Saxifraga is amazing. I am so taken with them, now I need to learn how to plant them properly so they can live long happy lives.
She also has an amazing collection of Lewisia of different kinds. She starts them from seed and many will grow from this years seedlings to produce flowers by this fall. She is a wealth of knowledge.

I forgot to post this photo of Sedum makinoi 'Variegatum'. The photo doesn't do justice to this wonderful sedum. I can't believe I left the nursery without buying this one. Sad

Chris, she has a number of different Delosperma. I could have easily gone home with my car trunk full (and it is a very large trunk).

I wish I could fly out there this spring to visit! Especially today - we're expecting 6-9" of sleet, ice and snow. I can't believe it. I have plants in my gardens that are up 8" already. They'll get smashed from the weight of all the heavy snow. Our avg. temps this time of year are the high 50's. Tomorrow night is supposed to get down to 24 deg. again. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Crying

Wow, Sedum makinoi 'Variegatum' is a beauty! Well, now you have to go back soon to get one. Whistling Can't wait to see pictures of all your new treasures nestled in their beds.

Here is a photo from 5/4/2011 of the Ullmus x hollandica 'Jacqueline Hillier' I got from her last month. It's waking up. Hurray! This is the sweetest miniature elm
tree . Lovey dubby How is yours doing Chris?

The wonderful little bunnies trimmed it back for me again this winter. But it came back just fine last spring so I'm sure it will again. Smiling
