I am new to the forum and wanted to say hello. I have been gardening since I was a little fella. My father was an avid gardener and I used to help him in his vegetable gardens. That is were it started for me. I have been gardening off and on every since. The last few years I have been straw bale gardening with great results. I relocated last summer so I was not able to put in a garden. Were I am at now is a good location but there is still a lot of clearing to do so this year because of limited space I put in a small container garden. Next year I hope to get back to straw bales. I basically l live in the middle of the woods so I had to build an enclosure for my containers to keep out the critters...hopefully anyways. Being as there are plenty of saplings on the property I decided to build a wattle fence. It was a new experience for me and I greatly enjoyed building it. It is still a work in progress but it serves it's purpose as is. I attached a couple of images. One is an image of one of my straw bale gardens and the other is the wattle I built. I hope you enjoy them. It was nice meeting you all and I hope to see you around the forums. Good luck and take care.

Welcome. I like the wattle - very nice and a good price.
One of my friends uses found material to make fencing - here is a fence made of old bed springs:
