I'm at work and can't listen to the tomato podcast where Trish was talking about her organic tomato pest repellant, a co worker (first garden) was just asking me what he can spray on his tomatoes to keep the bugs away and I thought of Trish's recipe-but I can't remember it Smiling Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!

I don't think that I've posted it anywhere, mainly because it's hard to call it a recipe!

Here's what I do:

Fill a blender with water (mine holds about 4 cups, and I'd probably do 3 3/4 C). Put 3-4 of the hottest peppers you have (Habaneros for me). If you have onions and/or garlic, throw those in too. Blend well- seeds and all. I then add in 5-6 drops of Dish detergent (I use Dawn, but it doesn't matter), and 3-4 drops of Neem oil. Pulse with your blender until combined.

*strain* into your 1 gal garden sprayer. It is very important to strain!

Fill up the rest of the way with water, and shake to mix.

You don't have to use it all in one spraying. However, it will get very "ripe" smelling! Also note that you will need to reapply every few days, and after any rain.

Oh- and wash your blender really really well!! Trust me.
