My order of three daylilies from Blueridge came today.



Order on the top, extras below. Very impressive plants, at least three fans on each. Blueridge is a huge regular on the LA and usually lists plants as "instant buy." Now I know some like the drama of checking every day for thirteen days and the stress when you are outbid but if you just want to buy a daylily, Blueridge is one way to go.

I have no connection to Blueridge with the exception of lots of his plants growing in my garden.

Just my opinion.

Bob Selman is one of the best vendors out there. Fully 75% of the Daylilies in my yard came from Blue Ridge.

I agree. I love his "instant buy" feature (I want instant gratification and I don't want to risk being outbid), and he sends great plants.

The first time I bought daylilies from him was on ebay about 10 years ago. He doesn't sell there anymore, but I'm glad I found him that way! He also hybridizes some beauties that are great performers - Clown Parade is awesome.

I planted fall 15 and spring 16 orders from him.....wonderful plants! He has a great group of watermarked daylilies!

Bob Selman hybridizes good plants and sets the bar for how customer relations should be.

I am glad you are happy. When you said Bazinga, I thought it meant you had been tricked because that is how Sheldon Cooper uses the word.

I was tricked, like on Christmas morning. I never expected all those great plants!

If I wanted to know if a certain Evergreen or Semi-Evergreen daylily would grow well in my climate, I would check Blueridge to see how it grows there. He is in the mountains and if they can grow in his climate, I am sure they will grow here in mine.

I've ordered from him for years using just an e-mail - No LA intermediary. He always replies promptly and courteously. His plants are fantastic, and I've never received a rusty plant from him. This year he outdid himself by sending me a bonus whose price was more then my whole order put together. His plants usually arrive around the first week of May in my zone...........Maryl

Thanks to you all I just placed instant buys on the Blueridge auction page. I look forward to seeing what arrives and when. This is my very first online daylily purchase. I'm a daylily virgin so rookie questions will pop up too
