What is happening to my DD's sedum? She is in San Diego. Sedum is about 1 yr old and doing well till now.

Also are there dogs or cats that can access that area?

Could it be rodents (squirrels, rabbits, voles, mice)?

Also, could it be overspray from an herbicide used by a neighbor, etc?

Thanks! I will pass it along to my DD. We well be visiting her in San Diego in July. I will help her out with it and refresh the garden bed we built together a year ago.
