Spiderworts (Tradescantia) are still blooming in some spots where I haven't dug them out of beds to plant something else yet. Zinnias from scattered seeds are starting to show off! A pretty color combo, IMVHO.

Really pretty, @bobjax.

By the way, please take a moment and go to your "Profile" and update your public profile, showing your location. City/state is most informative, but even your USDA zone would help.

Many blooms coming to an end except for plumbago (just starting), clematis, and butterfly bush. Dianthus holding on too and a wallflower. There were more annuals blooming but the deer trimmed those good. One coneflower. A few in bud. Rue has buds.. Autumn joy just coloring up. Sedum uniformly happy. Rudbeckia maxima has immature noses...rather small this year -- too shaded by grandfather's beard ....bee balm in bud. Gaura doing real well. Heat has hit. Humidity too. No predicted rain until next Thursday ..and pitiful chance at that. We are on a well...and so I water...but not crazy water.

Here Is gaura to left of stream and the white in separate photo..not as unruly as pink ( <next to last photo )
And my one lonely coneflower ( last )
Also 2 photos of the wildflower garden along the riverwalk where I walk in Hillsborough. Loaded with bees. DH is dangerously allergic and so I avoid large plantings of wild bee loving stuff. But lots blooming in there.

I have CALADIUMS coming back from last year. Never had that happen before. They are in a shaded bed that a fig tree protects. I guess the mild winter plus protection helped. nodding

Mine usually come back too, Kabby but if we have really cold (for us) weather predicted I do throw on a couple of extra bags of mulch over top of where they're living. In this picture the ones with red veins (White Queen) are from last year and the others are new this year. We had a very mild winter, too.

Another surprise bonus daylily, don't know the name, but I'm pretty sure it didn't bloom last year. I'd have remembered those extravagant edges.

Wow Elaine that's a heck of a surprise daylily, those edges are practically dragging the flower down. Beautiful! I would have thought in zone 9b that there wouldn't be a need for mulching your caladiums, that they would automatically come back.
I bought a box from Bill last year, I just thought it would be no different than other years, caladiums gone from winter temps.
Larry, the caladium are in the bed where the pink rain lilies are. There are going to be at least a dozen blooming tomorrow, the most I've ever seen at one time. Where is that camera??!! Jerry called himself cleaning up! Glare
