Thalictrum aquilegifolium is my take on it. The foliage looks a bit like Columbine leaves, thus the name. Smiling
Flowers can be white , mauve or purple.

Thank you! When it first came up we actually thought it was a Columbine!
Is it a garden plant or a weed? The flower isn't exactly spectacular...
