Stripe, streak, splash, broken colors purslane in the Purslane and Portulaca forum

I love stripe, streak, splash or broken colors purslane. They look best in hanging basket or patio pot where you can see them close.

If you have that kind of purslane, feel free to share them here

Solid colors are good for mass planting. Maybe thats why the solid ones more available than those multicolor ones.

Another new purslane to me. I have got the cutting from mail orders 2 weeks ago. And today its start to flower. The shape and size not perfect yet actually. But i just cant wait to share it here

Thank you Vicky. The splash on this specimen actually not contrast enough to be recognized from a distance. Let see if it can produce seed or easy to hybridize for better color

Yes the basic color are similar. But it have pink splash near the edge of the petal. Some time the pink splash come in greater area such as the one below

Here is another variety which bloom today. Contrasting stripe of yellow and pink.

A bit late to take a pic since the flower start to close.

The mail order house is in Indonesia. Just small home scale business/collector.
I dont think if they can send plant material outside of teritory. If they can provide phytosanitary or other document. I will ask him to make sure

I noticed similar tiny bees visiting my purslane blooms. They are not honey bees, and I wonder what kind of bees they are? And where do they live?
