Example? "Roastin" Ears"

Corn on the cob, but amongst family. "Roastin' ears". I've never eaten a roasted ear of corn, except those I roasted myself. Boiling ears would be another run. Those I've eaten, forever. My family cooks on HIGH. Kills the nutrients, I don't do it.

You ought to see people's faces when they sit down to a fine dinner in a reservations, coat and tie restaurant in New Orleans and look down at a dozen gleaming raw oysters sitting in the shell complete with natural juices...for the first(and possibly last) time. Hilarious!

Wish I could get the general populace to cease boiling corn on the cob. It should be steamed as boiling the ears makes the corn tough. One of my pet peeves
