Example? "Roastin" Ears"


Corn on the cob, but amongst family. "Roastin' ears". I've never eaten a roasted ear of corn, except those I roasted myself. Boiling ears would be another run. Those I've eaten, forever. My family cooks on HIGH. Kills the nutrients, I don't do it.

Even though you marked this done....pickled feet...as in pigs'. All my feet do is get dirty while I get pickled

How about "Rocky Mountain Oysters"? I mean there is not Even a sea or gulf or ocean in the rockies.

That one has always cracked me up. I never understood it and when people find out what they are the looks on their faces is priceless!!

You ought to see people's faces when they sit down to a fine dinner in a reservations, coat and tie restaurant in New Orleans and look down at a dozen gleaming raw oysters sitting in the shell complete with natural juices...for the first(and possibly last) time.

Wish I could get the general populace to cease boiling corn on the cob. It should be steamed as boiling the ears makes the corn tough. One of my pet peeves
