I have several of these plants in my yard- I have always called them the Dr.Suess plants because they remind me of the trees in the Dr. Seuss books. Does anyone know what they are??

You didn't mention where you live (or what area of the country the plant is growing) but it looks like Ardisia to me, although I'm not sure which one. Check out some of the images in our database for comparison: http://garden.org/plants/search/text.php?q=Ardisia&button=
