Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what this bushy plant is? I think it's something I planted last summer with the herbs. I thought it was mint but it tastes terrible.

I also have this strange plant growing in the back so I thought I'd throw it on here too in case anyone has any info.
(Sorry the photos are backwards, the first is something that just sprung up, the second the thing I thought was mint)

I don't know about the first one...but the second does look like a variety of mint.

The upright plant is Catnip (Nepeta cataria)
