I am new to Hydrangea, I was wondering what type fertilizer & how often?
Also should these plants be cut down in the fall or winter?

Central Ohio 43016 (Zone 6a)
Plays on the water.
Aluminum sulfate to fertilize with. I just let it die back in winter, then cleaned up the dead stuff in the spring.
