The branch structure looks like pines that I've had......sorry I don't have a better pic, these are from a friend who is actually a previous nursery owner, but it's not a tree she's familiar with...looking for a customer ID....

Sherry, if that is a Pinus strobus, the needles should pull off in bunches of mostly 5. It's hard to tell from the picture if they are. If it's any kind of pine the needles will be in bunches joined at the base and not individual. That would be a way to determine if it's a pine, if possible to get that info. The attachment at the branch ends looks kind of odd.

Yes, I couldn't see what number of clusters of needles there were...I will pass that info on to my friend who can go take a closer look at the tree. I'm not knowledgeable about pines, but the only ones I've had seemed to have the same branch structure and for some reason, I seem to remember the needless being clusters of 5....
