Seedfork said:I have had Wineberry Candy in my garden for over a year, and it has not done very well so far. It sent up a scape and a puny bloom soon after planting but has done nothing but decline since. It is still hanging in there, and I hope to see a much stronger plant next year. No bloom, and no rebloom and no increase.
My experience with Wineberry Candy is exactly the same as Larry's. The plant did bloom when I first got it but has done nothing since. This spring (2021) I dug it up, potted it, and moved it to a sunnier location to see if that would help. The only result is that it got rust. This one has been a disappointment for me in zone 8b.
This picture is of its first bloom, shortly before it started to dwindle.
