Chicago Peace, Glowing Peace.

I see pictures of each and both look the same to my untrained eye.

Is there a difference or any I over analyzing?

Hi Andrew.

Glowing Peace is a Grandiflora rose and Chicago Peace is a Hybrid tea rose. The first link explains the difference between the two.

'Chicago Peace' is a sport of the rose 'Peace'

Rose (Rosa 'Chicago Peace')

A sport is spontaneous mutation that was discovered growing on a rose and isolated and when propagated showed the new characteristics that were different than the original rose

'Glowing Peace' was a hybridized by Michèle Meilland Richardier and was a cross of Sun King x Roxane and was introduced into commerce in 1998

Rose (Rosa 'Glowing Peace')

In other words, even tho' they are considered to have different classifications, the real difference is in the lineage of the roses.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
