Has anyone had success growing a Neem tree? I adore the leaves for cooking. In India & Pakistan they are called "curry leaves" & provide a smoky, somewhat pungent flavor that I adore. I can buy the fresh leaves in bundles at Indian grocery, but i'd like to try growing one. I'm in zone 7a & the Neem is native to a very hot climate…..so I don't know. They can grow to be huge trees but can also be pruned back & kept at height of a shrub. Neem is considered one of the most beneficial of the healing plants. I don't even know all the uses, but I want to grow one. Anyone tried?

Lowest temp they can take is 35 so you would need to grow indoors.
