Thread OP

I planted my rubbarb plants in the spring, they took off good and grew big pretty leaves .Now one by one the leaves are turning yellow, wilting to the ground and dying. What is wrong?

Sam, hi and welcome! We need to know where you live before making a guess as to what is wrong. You can complete your personal profile to show your city/state/country and then it will appear in the upper right corner of all your posts.

A picture of the ailing plant and the surrounding area would also be very helpful.

I did just hear a podcast today on "You Bet Your Garden" that rhubarb can't survive the heat in places like OK and TX.
