Thread OP

planted tree 3 weeks ago and it has buds but the leaves aren't growing. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the tree. My wife says we need to replace it ???

If it was only planted 3 weeks ago, it's probably doing all the work underground. Growing roots is a plants 1st priority after it's planted. Can you get us a picture?

Mulberries are among the last trees to leaf out in the spring. Depending on where you live, it might just not be ready to leaf out yet. If you break a twig, is there still green wood inside, or is it dry and brown?
