I have been busy. Too busy. My perennial garden has gotten away from me. I have been busy with work, busy with grown kids, busy with life. Oh, and also my plot in the community garden. That has taken a lot of time too.

Tomorrow I have 12 women coming to my home for our monthly book club. I am only half way through the book. MY book. I have to get cracking: the house needs cleaning, the book needs reading, the menu needs planning. Aichtt~!!

Back to the title of this post. My perennial gardens are in sore need of weeding, staking, edging, fussing with, etc. BUT because they are in bloom my neglect is not so obvious!!! Only another gardener would know, so please don't rat me out.

Here are some photos:

I agree
Your garden looks lovely.
Life can get in the way, but we carry on with gardening.
There are no sins in gardening--
--just a few things which need attention when we can get to them!

Still vibrant and beautiful with various colors, shapes, and forms. If it will make you feel better, how about dumping buckets of woodchips or mulch from a horse stable like I do to hide whatever you want to hide?
This is my backyard. Rolling on the floor laughing

Both yards look amazing. Grass is so overrated, I love the way you both use every inch of space to your advantage Lovey dubby

Thank you, Cayuga. I like it too. 😊😄 Passerbys always say that looks like a lot of work, but actually I barely do anything now. Just some tidying up here and there.

Thank you, ediblelzndscapingsc. My lawn disappeared so long ago I can't remember which year I gave away lawn tools. You are absolutely right. Every inch in my garden is planted. I cannot set foot anywhere without stepping on something. Rolling on the floor laughing
