I just bought my house and this lovely shrub(?) is in my yard, my mom and sister both really like it and would like some for their yards, but I have no idea what it is!
It's probably over 8 ft tall at its highest point and it looks like it's going to flower soon, possibly red or pink?

Hi Khayes, Welcome!

That sure is a pretty shrub/tree! Can you provide a bit of information, like what part of the country or state the plant is growing? That might help identify it. It does look like it's getting ready to bloom and once the flowers open I'm sure you can get an exact ID if you post a bloom photo!

I want to say Physocarpus opulifolius from the arching habit and sidebranching with terminal flowers - but the leaf morphology doesn't seem to match well with Eastern Ninebark.

Provide some more pictures of the whole plant, and then some closeups of the base where the trunks arise, and maybe some shots of the branches/stems close in.

And when the flowers open...
