I'm gearing up for future themed gardens and one that I'm strongly considering is a medieval theme, to include the following:

Dragons and other mythical creatures (elves, dwarves, etc.)
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter
Terry Goodkind/Sword of Truth (if any exist)

Please share the names--and pictures, too!--of the beauties in your garden that have names to fit the theme!

I'll share a few that I already have or already have on my wishlist:

When you said medieval themed I thought you meant plants that would have been grown in Europe during medieval times. I see what you mean by the names though.

Sorry, I struggled over what to call it. *Blush* I guess I could have said 'middle earth' theme, but I didn't want it to be specific to Tolkien.

Two plants that I have in my gardens that fit your name theme are Epimedium 'Pink Elf' and Astilbe 'Sprite'. I am always fascinated by the design aspect of themed gardens. This one that you came up with has so many possibilities Smiling
