I have tried to upload a photo in several different threads and when I click on the upload an image box it takes me back to the home page of which ever forum I am in. This has also happened to another member in the Vegetable forum and they brought it to my attention.

Patti, I updated that system a couple days ago and maybe your browser is still caching the old version.

Try hitting the homepage, and then do a shift-refresh (hold the shift key down while clicking the refresh button in your browser).

Then go try another upload. If it still doesn't work, please let me know!

Just happened to me in the Plant ID forum.

And I tried the shift/refresh.

Still won't work for me.

Try clicking a couple times and let me know if that works or doesn't.

What page are you trying to upload it to? (Give me a link, please) And did you try clicking several times?

Failing that, I'll ask you to quit your browser and bring it back up, trying again.

Logged the computer right off. Came back and same thing. Clicked on upload an image and nothing happened. 20+ clicks. Clicked on preview and it worked right away.

ok I got it to work.

Opposite of what I'm used to. I got it to work by clicking on the upload button when it didn't turn colour. Usually it works when the button turns colour...but it isn't. It's the part of the button that doesn't change colour that works.

Did that make sense?

I know what you're saying, Lee Anne. If I click while it's green, it works. If I click while it's yellow, it doesn't. And to get it to turn yellow, I have to have my mouse on the left side of the button. On the right side, the little Hand (link sign) appears, but the color remains green.

You're right, Nancy! I never noticed that before but I was able to replicate this myself.

Now I can look into this and see if I can make it behave better.
