Thread OP

Hey Garden.org community!
I've been Googling this for a while and can't come to any definitive answer so I was hoping you could help. I've grown potatoes for a number of years now. On a relatively small scale, admittedly, but big enough for my needs! This year, a number of my potato crops have started to show dark/black lumps & marks on the outside skin of the potato themselves. This is mostly limited to a small section at the moment, though of course I'm worried this might spread.

A few quick searches later and I found this image, which most resembles what I'm seeing at the moment:

So far my searching suggests this might be Black Scurf/Rhizoctonia Solani (more info here http://www.leicesters.co.nz/rh...) but I'm undecided. Could it be anything else? Or is this definitely what the pic makes it seem? Has anyone ever dealt with this before? Any and all input is welcome and appreciated!
