I have been given this plant to take care of? But what is it?

It is not tea plant.
My wild guess : Dahlia

I live in dubai. Someone gave me this plant and told me it is green tea.

Tea Plant (Camellia sinensis)

Its a kind of tree or shrub with leaf arrange alternately. Your plants have opposite leaf and juicy stem. Remind me of daisy family plants.

Can you ask the previous owner if the plant have flower before ? How the flowers looks a like ? What colour ?

The previous owner told me she suddenly discovered a lot of this plant growing in her garden. I dont think it has flowers at all.

They must be have flower to produce seeds so they can grow as suddenly as that. 😊

I am sure its not tea plant. Maybe a member of daisy family (asteraceae/compositae). If its a weed, the first plant come in my mind is Bidens pilosa. But i am not sure if bidens weed are common in dubai.

Maybe we need to wait the plant to recover and produce some flower i hope to make sure what it is.
